This guide will walk you through everything you need to get started with FAII and begin monitoring your AI visibility.

Getting Started Checklist

Step 1: Creating Your Account

Sign Up Process

  1. Visit app.faii.ai/register
  2. Sign up using:
    • Google OAuth (recommended for easiest setup)
    • Email and password
All new accounts start with a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required.

After Signing Up

Once you create your account, youโ€™ll be guided through our onboarding questionnaire. This helps us personalize your experience and set up a demo campaign.

Step 2: Onboarding Questionnaire

The questionnaire takes about 2 minutes and covers:

Company Information

  • Company Name - Your business or brand name
  • Website URL - Your primary domain to monitor
  • Industry - Helps us provide relevant benchmarks

Primary Focus

Choose what matters most to your business:

Brand Monitoring

Track how your brand appears in AI responses and search results

Competitor Analysis

Monitor competitors and identify market opportunities

SEO Performance

Track search rankings and AI Overview presence

Content Strategy

Find content gaps and optimization opportunities

Target Keywords

Enter 5-10 keywords relevant to your business:
Examples:
- Your brand name
- Product names
- Industry terms
- Service descriptions
- Competitor names
Pro Tip: Include a mix of branded keywords (your company name) and non-branded keywords (industry terms). This gives you a complete picture of your visibility.

Step 3: Understanding Your Demo Campaign

After completing onboarding, we automatically create a Demo Campaign for you. This campaign:
  • Uses your provided brand name and keywords
  • Includes AI-generated questions about your industry
  • Runs across multiple AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity)
  • Provides a benchmark of your current AI visibility

What the Demo Campaign Monitors

  • Brand mentions in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity
  • Sentiment of mentions (positive, neutral, negative)
  • Competitor mentions in the same responses
  • Response patterns and trends
  • Google search rankings for your keywords
  • AI Overview presence and content
  • Featured snippets and rich results
  • Competitor positions

Step 4: Your Dashboard

After your first campaign runs (usually within 24 hours), your dashboard will show:

AI Visibility Score

Your overall visibility score (0-100) combines:
  • Chat Score - Brand mention rate in AI platforms
  • SERP Score - Search ranking performance
  • Sentiment Score - Positive vs negative mentions

Step 5: Connecting Data Sources (Optional)

For richer insights, connect your existing analytics:

Click Connect and authorize FAII to access your GA4 data

Choose which GA4 properties to sync

Grant FAII read-only access to your Search Console data

Select Sites

Choose which verified sites to monitor
FAII only requests read-only access to your data. We never modify your Analytics or Search Console settings.

Step 6: Creating Additional Campaigns

Once youโ€™re comfortable with the demo campaign, create custom campaigns:
